The Folsom Police Officers' Association is proud to endorse Kerri Howell, Sarah Aquino, and Mike Kozlowski in their 2018 campaign for Folsom City Council. We believe these three candidates possess the qualities and character necessary to best serve the needs of our community. These three candidates support public safety and are committed to keeping our schools and neighborhoods safe while representing the City of Folsom.
Kerri Howell has served on the Folsom City Council for almost 20 years, including serving as Mayor for two terms and Vice Mayor for two terms. Under her leadership, Folsom is consistently named one of the best places to live, work and raise a family. Public Safety is an issue she fights for, stating that “Keeping our families safe is job #1 for government. On Folsom City Council, I will make sure we have the staff, equipment and technology they need to keep us safe.”
Sarah Aquino has a variety of experience, ranging from Vice President of the Folsom Cordova School Board to serving on the Citizens’ Advisory Committee for Folsom State Prison and California State Prison, Sacramento. She supports Public Safety, saying that “I believe Public Safety is government’s most important responsibility. As our state leaders continue to water down our criminal justice system, I think it’s more important than ever to provide local law enforcement the resources they need to keep us safe.”
Mike Kozlowski has been a member of the Folsom community for years, dedicated to improving schools and youth sports programs in order to make Folsom a better place to live. He says, “We all enjoy living here in Folsom because it is, above all else, a SAFE place for our families. I know that nothing is more important than having well trained, experienced and properly staffed Police and Fire Departments. Public Safety is my #1 Priority."
